Terms & Conditions

Storybook Content

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Storybook Content (“I”, “me”, “my”, “we”). By paying a booking fee or confirming a booking, you (“the Client”) agree to the terms below.

1. Services
Storybook Content provides wedding content creation services. This includes capturing candid photos and short-form video content throughout the wedding day and delivering unedited and/or edited digital files as outlined in your chosen coverage.
Storybook Content is not a replacement for a professional photographer or videographer, and the service does not guarantee coverage of every moment or event during the day.

2. Booking & Payment
A booking is secured once:
A booking fee/deposit is paid.
The booking fee is non-refundable and secures your date. Until this is received, the date remains available to other clients.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the wedding date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If full payment is not received by the due date, Storybook Content reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the booking fee.

3. Coverage & Timings
Coverage hours are consecutive and begin at the agreed start time.
If the wedding runs late or schedules change, I will do my best to accommodate where possible. However, I am not obligated to stay beyond the booked coverage time unless this is agreed and paid for in advance or on the day (subject to availability).

4. Nature of the Service
Wedding content creation focuses on natural, behind-the-scenes documentation.
I do not stage or direct the day in the way a photographer might
I do not coordinate guests or manage the timeline
I do not control lighting, weather, venue restrictions or guest behaviour
As such, certain moments may be missed due to timing changes, restrictions, or events beyond my control.

5. Cooperation with Other Suppliers
I will work respectfully alongside your photographer and videographer. Priority is always given to the couple’s primary photographer during key moments (such as ceremony and group photos).
I am not responsible if another supplier or venue restricts filming or prevents certain angles or locations.

6. Delivery of Content
You will receive:
A selection of unedited content within approximately 24 hours
Edited highlights within approximately 24–72 hours
Delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak season or due to unforeseen circumstances.
All content is delivered digitally. No raw project files or editing files are provided.

7. Editing Style
Edited content is created in the Storybook Content style. By booking, you acknowledge you are familiar with my portfolio and editing approach.
No extensive re-editing or stylistic changes are included. Minor adjustment requests may be considered at my discretion.

8. Equipment & Technical Issues
All reasonable steps are taken to maintain and back up equipment and files.
In the extremely unlikely event of:
equipment failure
file corruption
technical malfunction
accidental loss
liability is limited to a refund of payments received.
Storybook Content is not responsible for issues caused by:
venue lighting
weather
restrictions
guest interference
poor mobile signal or Wi-Fi

9. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
Obtain permission from the venue if required
Inform me of any filming restrictions
Provide a schedule/timeline where available
Ensure key individuals are aware I will be capturing content
I am not responsible for missed moments if I am not informed of schedule changes.

10. Use of Content
Storybook Content retains the copyright to all photos and videos created.
Content may be used for:
website portfolio
social media
marketing and promotional purposes
Clients may share and download the content for personal use but may not sell, edit, apply filters over, or commercially distribute the content without written permission.

11. Cancellations & Postponements
If the client cancels:
The booking fee is non-refundable
If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding, the full balance may still be due
If the wedding is postponed, I will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a new date. However, availability cannot be guaranteed.
If I am unavailable for the new date, the booking fee remains non-refundable.

12. Illness or Emergency
In the unlikely event I am unable to attend due to serious illness, accident, or emergency, I will attempt to arrange a suitable replacement where possible. If a replacement cannot be arranged, liability is limited to a full refund of payments received.

13. Limitation of Liability
Storybook Content is not liable for:
missed moments
schedule delays
venue restrictions
guest interference
weather conditions
supplier actions
personal disappointment regarding content
My maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service.

14. Travel & Safety
I reserve the right to leave a location if I feel unsafe due to aggressive behaviour, unsafe conditions, illegal activity, or harassment. In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.

15. Agreement
Payment of the booking fee confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
